Diana Buckley

Diana has been practicing yoga for over 11 years. As a former ballet dancer, she first started practicing Iyengar yoga as a tool to help find her alignment and to assist in warming up for rigorous classes. Through art, ballet, and yoga training, she became inspired by the method of Autogenics, the way movement of the body trains the mind and stabilizes the nervous system.
Diana received her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Art History, Theory, and Criticism from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She later attended the University of New Orleans, where she received her Master’s degree in Arts Administration. Currently, Diana is Curator of Science and Technology at the Louisiana State Museum.
Since December 2007, Bruno Tessandier has been a driving force and inspiration in her yoga practice on and off of the matt.
